The images below are the style used in drawing at parties etc. Color is avoided to draw as many subjects as
possible. Profiles or side views of the face will be even faster.  Graphics Caricatures are usually done with color, but are usually of one or two faces or a small group. To see color graphics samples click on "Graphics Caricatures" at the top of the page.

The above samples are of live subjects, this type of black and white caricature is the industry standard for parties and events. Color takes longer, so too draw more people this is the usual method. I take the time to talk to the person being drawn to find out a theme to use that matches their personality. This can take a few minutes but makes each drawing a personal, customized work of art. I take the approach of a serious artist, I was trained at MICA, the top ranked art school in Baltimore, Md., which I attended on a full scholarship.
My drawings are done with archival inks unlike other artists, and are done on a thicker paper that won't buckle easily.
The above samples are of live subjects with colored chalks. I will do this type only if requested by the client hiring me, as they take longer and time is always at a premium to draw as many people as possible. Actually I haven't had to use color for over a year now at live jobs as speed is the main goal.
I am also affiliated with Gigmasters and Thumbtack, which provides info such as customer refiews about my services. For information and to see more samples of my work use Google or another search engine to go their home sites.
